And she conceived^H2029 again, and bare^H3205 a son:^H1121 and she said,^H559 This^H6471 time will I praise^H3034 Jehovah:^H3068 therefore she called^H7121 his name^H8034 Judah;^H3063 and she left^H5975 off bearing.^H3205

And Joseph^H3130 was the governor^H7989 over the land;^H776 he it was that sold^H7666 to all the people^H5971 of the land.^H776 And Joseph's^H3130 brethren^H251 came,^H935 and bowed down^H7812 themselves to him with their faces^H639 to the earth.^H776

And the sons^H1121 of Judah:^H3063 Er,^H6147 and Onan,^H209 and Shelah,^H7956 and Perez,^H6557 and Zerah;^H2226 but Er^H6147 and Onan^H209 died^H4191 in the land^H776 of Canaan.^H3667 And the sons^H1121 of Perez^H6557 were Hezron^H2696 and Hamul.^H2538

And in the first^H7223 [place] the standard^H1714 of the camp^H4264 of the children^H1121 of Judah^H3063 set^H5265 forward according to their hosts:^H6635 and over his host was Nahshon^H5177 the son^H1121 of Amminadab.^H5992

And this is [the blessing] of Judah:^H3063 and he said,^H559 Hear,^H8085 Jehovah,^H3068 the voice^H6963 of Judah,^H3063 And bring^H935 him in unto his people.^H5971 With his hands^H3027 he contended^H7227 for himself; And thou shalt be a help^H5828 against his adversaries.^H6862

This is the inheritance^H5159 of the tribe^H4294 of the children^H1121 of Judah^H3063 according to their families.^H4940

And Jehovah^H3068 said,^H559 Judah^H3063 shall go up:^H5927 behold, I have delivered^H5414 the land^H776 into his hand.^H3027

So all the elders^H2205 of Israel^H3478 came^H935 to the king^H4428 to Hebron;^H2275 and king^H4428 David^H1732 made^H3772 a covenant^H1285 with them in Hebron^H2275 before^H6440 Jehovah:^H3068 and they anointed^H4886 David^H1732 king^H4428 over Israel.^H3478

And Joab^H3097 gave up^H5414 the sum^H4557 of the numbering^H4662 of the people^H5971 unto the king:^H4428 and there were in Israel^H3478 eight^H8083 hundred^H3967 thousand^H505 valiant^H2428 men^H376 that drew^H8025 the sword;^H2719 and the men^H376 of Judah^H3063 were five^H2568 hundred^H3967 thousand^H505 men.^H376

For Judah^H3063 prevailed^H1396 above his brethren,^H251 and of him came the prince;^H5057 but the birthright^H1062 was Joseph's),^H3130

And in every city^H5892 [he put] shields^H6793 and spears,^H7420 and made them exceeding^H7235 strong.^H2388 And Judah^H3063 and Benjamin^H1144 belonged to him.

And he gathered^H6908 all Judah^H3063 and Benjamin,^H1144 and them that sojourned^H1481 with them out of Ephraim^H669 and Manasseh,^H4519 and out of Simeon:^H8095 for they fell^H5307 to him out of Israel^H3478 in abundance,^H7230 when they saw^H7200 that Jehovah^H3068 his God^H430 was with him.

And this was the numbering^H6486 of them according to their fathers'^H1 houses:^H1004 Of Judah,^H3063 the captains^H8269 of thousands:^H505 Adnah^H5734 the captain,^H8269 and with him mighty men^H1368 of valor^H2428 three^H7969 hundred^H3967 thousand;^H505

Thou hast also made^H5414 mine enemies^H341 turn their backs^H6203 unto me, That I might cut off^H6789 them that hate^H8130 me.

But chose^H977 the tribe^H7626 of Judah,^H3063 The mount^H2022 Zion^H6726 which he loved.^H157

while they see^H2372 for thee false visions, while they divine^H7080 lies^H3577 unto thee, to lay thee upon the necks^H6677 of the wicked^H7563 that are deadly wounded, whose day^H3117 is come^H935 in the time^H3117 of the iniquity^H5771 of the end.^H7093

For^G1063 it is evident^G4271 that^G3754 our^G2257 Lord^G2962 hath sprung^G393 out of^G1537 Judah;^G2448 as to^G1519 which^G3739 tribe^G5443 Moses^G3475 spake^G2980 nothing^G3762 concerning^G4012 priests.^G2420

and^G2532 one^G1520 of^G1537 the elders^G4245 saith^G3004 unto me,^G3427 Weep^G2799 not;^G3361 behold,^G2400 the Lion^G3023 that is^G5607 of^G1537 the tribe^G5443 of Judah,^G2448 the Root^G4491 of David,^G1138 hath overcome^G3528 to open^G455 the book^G975 and^{G2532 G3089} the seven^G2033 seals^G4973 thereof.^G846
