The young lions^H3715 do lack,^H7326 and suffer hunger;^H7456 But they that seek^H1875 Jehovah^H3068 shall not want^H2637 any good^H2896 thing.

I returned,^H7725 and saw^H7200 under the sun,^H8121 that the race^H4793 is not to the swift,^H7031 nor the battle^H4421 to the strong,^H1368 neither yet bread^H3899 to the wise,^H2450 nor yet riches^H6239 to men of understanding,^H995 nor yet favor^H2580 to men of skill;^H3045 but time^H6256 and chance^H6294 happeneth^H7136 to them all.

And [their] bows^H7198 shall dash^H7376 the young men^H5288 in pieces;^H7376 and they shall have no pity^H7355 on the fruit^H6529 of the womb;^H990 their eye^H5869 shall not spare^H2347 children.^H1121

For death^H4194 is come up^H5927 into our windows,^H2474 it is entered^H935 into our palaces;^H759 to cut off^H3772 the children^H5768 from without,^H2351 [and] the young men^H970 from the streets.^H7339
