and shall say^H559 unto them, Hear,^H8085 O Israel,^H3478 ye draw nigh^H7131 this day^H3117 unto battle^H4421 against your enemies:^H341 let not your heart^H3824 faint;^H7401 fear^H3372 not, nor tremble,^H2648 neither be ye affrighted^H6206 at them;^H6440

In the two^H8147 and fiftieth^H2572 year^H8141 of Azariah^H5838 king^H4428 of Judah^H3063 Pekah^H6492 the son^H1121 of Remaliah^H7425 began to reign^H4427 over Israel^H3478 in Samaria,^H8111 [and reigned] twenty^H6242 years.^H8141

Ye shall not need to fight^H3898 in this^H2063 [battle]: set^H3320 yourselves, stand^H5975 ye still, and see^H7200 the salvation^H3444 of Jehovah^H3068 with you, O Judah^H3063 and Jerusalem;^H3389 fear^H3372 not, nor be dismayed:^H2865 to-morrow^H4279 go out^H3318 against^H6440 them: for Jehovah^H3068 is with you.

For the head^H7218 of Syria^H758 is Damascus,^H1834 and the head^H7218 of Damascus^H1834 is Rezin;^H7526 and within threescore^H8346 and five^H2568 years^H8141 shall Ephraim^H669 be broken^H2865 in pieces, so that it shall not be a people:^H5971

Forasmuch^H3282 as this people^H5971 have refused^H3988 the waters^H4325 of Shiloah^H7975 that go^H1980 softly,^H328 and rejoice^H4885 in Rezin^H7526 and Remaliah's^H7425 son;^H1121

Therefore thus saith^H559 the Lord,^H136 Jehovah^H3069 of hosts,^H6635 O my people^H5971 that dwellest^H3427 in Zion,^H6726 be not afraid^H3372 of the Assyrian,^H804 though he smite^H5221 thee with the rod,^H7626 and lift up^H5375 his staff^H4294 against thee, after the manner^H1870 of Egypt.^H4714

For thus said^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah,^H3069 the Holy One^H6918 of Israel,^H3478 In returning^H7729 and rest^H5183 shall ye be saved;^H3467 in quietness^H8252 and in confidence^H985 shall be your strength.^H1369 And ye would^H14 not:

Fear^H3372 not, thou worm^H8438 Jacob,^H3290 and ye men^H4962 of Israel;^H3478 I will help^H5826 thee, saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 and thy Redeemer^H1350 is the Holy One^H6918 of Israel.^H3478

It is good^H2896 that a man should hope^H3175 and quietly wait^H1748 for the salvation^H8668 of Jehovah.^H3068

For the vision^H2377 is yet for the appointed time,^H4150 and it hasteth toward the end,^H7093 and shall^H6315 not lie:^H3576 though it tarry,^H4102 wait^H2442 for it; because it will surely^H935 come,^H935 it will not delay.^H309

And^G2532 be not^G3361 afraid^G5399 of them that kill^G615 the body,^G4983 but^G1161 are^G1410 not^G3361 able^G1410 to kill^G615 the soul:^G5590 but^G1161 rather^G3123 fear^G5399 him who is able^G1410 to destroy^G622 both^G2532 soul^G5590 and^G2532 body^G4983 in^G1722 hell.^G1067
