So Ahaz^H271 sent^H7971 messengers^H4397 to Tiglath-pileser^H8407 king^H4428 of Assyria,^H804 saying,^H559 I am thy servant^H5650 and thy son:^H1121 come up,^H5927 and save^H3467 me out of the hand^H3709 of the king^H4428 of Syria,^H758 and out of the hand^H3709 of the king^H4428 of Israel,^H3478 who rise up^H6965 against me.

and they shall be dismayed;^H926 pangs^H6735 and sorrows^H2256 shall take hold^H270 [of them]; they shall be in pain^H2342 as a woman in travail:^H2342 they shall look in amazement^H8539 one^H376 at another;^H7453 their faces^H6440 [shall be] faces^H6440 of flame.

And Hezekiah^H2396 was glad^H8055 of them, and showed^H7200 them the house^H1004 of his precious things,^H5238 the silver,^H3701 and the gold,^H2091 and the spices,^H1314 and the precious^H2896 oil,^H8081 and all the house^H1004 of his armor,^H3627 and all that was found^H4672 in his treasures:^H214 there was nothing^H1697 in his house,^H1004 nor in all his dominion,^H4475 that Hezekiah^H2396 showed^H7200 them not.

the prophets^H5030 prophesy^H5012 falsely,^H8267 and the priests^H3548 bear rule^H7287 by their means;^H3027 and my people^H5971 love^H157 to have it so: and what will ye do^H6213 in the end^H319 thereof?

O inhabitant^H3427 of Lebanon,^H3844 that makest thy nest^H7077 in the cedars,^H730 how greatly to be pitied^H2603 shalt thou be when pangs^H2256 come^H935 upon thee, the pain^H2427 as of a woman in travail!^H3205

behold, all the women^H802 that are left^H7604 in the king^H4428 of Judah's^H3063 house^H1004 shall be brought forth^H3318 to the king^H4428 of Babylon's^H894 princes,^H8269 and those women shall say,^H559 Thy familiar friends^H582 have set thee on,^H5496 and have prevailed^H3201 over thee: [now that] thy feet^H7272 are sunk^H2883 in the mire,^H1206 they are turned away^H5472 back.^H268

Will you yet^H559 say^H559 before^H6440 him that slays^H2026 you, I am God?^H430 but you are man,^H120 and not God,^H410 in the hand^H3027 of him that woundeth^H2490 you.
