The stranger^H1616 that sojourneth^H1481 with you shall be unto you as the home-born^H249 among you, and thou shalt love^H157 him as thyself; for ye were sojourners^H1616 in the land^H776 of Egypt:^H4714 I am Jehovah^H3068 your God.^H430

I am a companion^H2270 of all them that fear^H3372 thee, And of them that observe^H8104 thy precepts.^H6490

These things^G5023 I command^G1781 you,^G5213 that^G2443 ye may love^G25 one another.^G240

In love^G5360 of the brethren be tenderly affectioned^G5387 one^G240 to^G1519 another;^G240 in honor^G5092 preferring^G4285 one another;^G240

Love^G26 suffereth long,^G3114 [and] is kind;^G5541 love^G26 envieth^G2206 not;^G3756 love^G26 vaunteth^G4068 not^G3756 itself,^G4068 is^G5448 not^G3756 puffed up,^G5448

and^G1161 the Lord^G2962 make^G4121 you^G5209 to increase^G4121 and^G2532 abound^G4052 in love^G26 one^G240 toward^G1519 another,^G240 and^G2532 toward^G1519 all^G3956 men, even^G2532 as^G2509 we^G2249 also [do] toward^G1519 you;^G5209

We are bound^G3784 to give thanks^G2168 to God^G2316 always^G3842 for^G4012 you,^G5216 brethren,^G80 even as^G2531 it is^G2076 meet,^G514 for that^G3754 your^G5216 faith^G4102 groweth exceedingly,^G5232 and^G2532 the love^G26 of each^G1538 one^G1520 of you^G5216 all^G3956 toward^G1519 one another^G240 aboundeth;^G4121

Howbeit^G3305 if^G1487 ye fulfil^G5055 the royal^G937 law,^G3551 according to^G2596 the scripture,^G1124 Thou shalt love^G25 thy^G4675 neighbor^G4139 as^G5613 thyself,^G4572 ye do^G4160 well:^G2573

Finally,^G5056 [be] ye all^G3956 likeminded,^G3675 compassionate,^G4835 loving as brethren,^G5361 tenderhearted,^G2155 humbleminded:^G5391

We^G2249 know^G1492 that^G3754 we have passed^G3327 out^G1537 of death^G2288 into^G1519 life,^G2222 because^G3754 we love^G25 the brethren.^G80 He that loveth^G25 not^{G3361 G80} abideth^G3306 in^G1722 death.^G2288

Beloved,^G27 let us love^G25 one another:^G240 for^G3754 love^G26 is^G2076 of^G1537 God;^G2316 and^G2532 every one^G3956 that^G3588 loveth^G25 is begotten^G1080 of^G1537 God,^G2316 and^G2532 knoweth^G1097 God.^G2316

And^G2532 now^G3568 I beseech^G2065 thee,^G4571 lady,^G2959 not^G3756 as^G5613 though I wrote^G1125 to thee^G4671 a new^G2537 commandment,^G1785 but^G235 that^G2443 which^G3739 we had^G2192 from^G575 the beginning,^G746 that^G2443 we love^G25 one another.^G240
