And as one^H259 of them opened^H6605 his sack^H8242 to give^H5414 his ass^H2543 provender^H4554 in the lodging-place,^H4411 he espied^H7200 his money;^H3701 and, behold, it was in the mouth^H6310 of his sack.^H572

And it came to pass on the way^H1870 at the lodging-place,^H4411 that Jehovah^H3068 met^H6298 him, and sought^H1245 to kill^H4191 him.

Therefore the Lord^H136 himself will give^H5414 you a sign:^H226 behold, a virgin^H5959 shall conceive,^H2030 and bear^H3205 a son,^H1121 and shall call^H7121 his name^H8034 Immanuel.^H6005

and^G2532 knew^G1097 her^G846 not^G3756 till^G2193 she had brought^G5088 forth^G846 a^G4416 son:^G5207 and^G2532 he called^G2564 his^G846 name^G3686 JESUS.^G2424

Is^G2076 not^G3756 this^G3778 the^G5207 carpenter's^G5045 son?^G5207 is^G3004 not^G3780 his^G846 mother^G3384 called^G3004 Mary?^G3137 and^G2532 his^G846 brethren,^G80 James,^G2385 and^G2532 Joseph,^G2500 and^G2532 Simon,^G4613 and^G2532 Judas?^G2455

and^G2532 came to^G4334 him, and bound up^G2611 his^G846 wounds,^G5134 pouring on^G2022 [them] oil^G1637 and^G2532 wine;^G3631 and^G1161 he set^G1913 him^G846 on^G1909 his own^G2398 beast,^G2934 and brought^G71 him^G846 to^G1519 an inn,^G3829 and^G2532 took care of^G1959 him.^G846

For^G1063 ye know^G1097 the grace^G5485 of our^G2257 Lord^G2962 Jesus^G2424 Christ,^G5547 that,^G3754 though he was^G5607 rich,^G4145 yet for^G1223 your sakes^G5209 he became poor,^G4433 that^G2443 ye^G5210 through his^G1565 poverty^G4432 might become rich.^G4147
