And Moses^H4872 and Aaron^H175 went in^H935 unto Pharaoh,^H6547 and said^H559 unto him, Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of the Hebrews,^H5680 How long^H4970 wilt thou refuse^H3985 to humble^H6031 thyself before^H6440 me? let my people^H5971 go,^H7971 that they may serve^H5647 me.

And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto Moses,^H4872 How long will this people^H5971 despise^H5006 me? and how long will they not^H3808 believe^H539 in me, for all the signs^H226 which I have wrought^H6213 among^H7130 them?

They have dealt corruptly^H7843 with him, [they]^H3971 [are] not his children,^H1121 [it is] their blemish; [They are] a perverse^H6141 and crooked^H6618 generation.^H1755

And might not be as their fathers,^H1 A stubborn^H5637 and rebellious^H4784 generation,^H1755 A generation^H1755 that set^H3559 not their heart^H3820 aright,^H3559 And whose spirit^H7307 was not stedfast^H539 with God.^H410

But^G1161 when he saw^G1492 many^G4183 of the Pharisees^G5330 and^G2532 Sadducees^G4523 coming^G2064 to^G1909 his^G846 baptism,^G908 he said^G2036 unto them,^G846 Ye offspring^G1081 of vipers,^G2191 who^G5101 warned^G5263 you^G5213 to flee^G5343 from^G575 the wrath^G3709 to come?^G3195

But^G1161 he^G3588 answered^G611 and said^G2036 unto them,^G846 An^G1074 evil^G4190 and^G2532 adulterous^G3428 generation^G1074 seeketh after^G1934 a sign;^G4592 and^G2532 there shall^G1325 no^G3756 sign^G4592 be given^G1325 it^G846 but^G1487 the^G3361 sign^G4592 of Jonah^G2495 the prophet:^G4396

An evil^G4190 and^G2532 adulterous^G3428 generation^G1074 seeketh after^G1934 a sign;^G4592 and^G2532 there shall^G1325 no^G3756 sign^G4592 be given^G1325 unto it,^G1487 but^G3361 the sign^G4592 of Jonah.^G2495 And^G2532 he left^G2641 them,^G846 and^G2532 departed.^G565

Verily^G281 I say^G3004 unto you,^G5213 All^G3956 these things^G5023 shall come^G2240 upon^G1909 this^G3778 generation.^G1074

And^G2532 for about^G5613 the time^G5550 of forty years^G5063 as a nursing-father bare^G5159 he^G846 them in^G1722 the wilderness.^G2048

Where^G3757 your^G5216 fathers^G3962 tried^G3985 [me]^G3165 by proving^G1381 [me],^G3165 And^G2532 saw^G1492 my^G3450 works^G2041 forty^G5062 years.^G2094

For^G1063 indeed^G2532 we have had^G2070 good tidings preached^G2097 unto us, even as^G2509 also they:^G2548 but^G235 the word^G3056 of hearing^G189 did^G5623 not^G3756 profit^G5623 them,^G1565 because it was not^G3361 united^G4786 by faith^G4102 with them that heard.^G191

Wherefore^G3606 also^G2532 he is able^G1410 to save^G4982 to^G1519 the uttermost^G3838 them^G3838 that draw near^G4334 unto God^G2316 through^G1223 him,^G846 seeing he^G2198 ever^G3842 liveth^G2198 to^G1519 make intercession^G1793 for^G5228 them.^G846
