But chose^H977 the tribe^H7626 of Judah,^H3063 The mount^H2022 Zion^H6726 which he loved.^H157

He showeth^H5046 his word^H1697 unto Jacob,^H3290 His statutes^H2706 and his ordinances^H4941 unto Israel.^H3478

Let me sing^H7891 for my wellbeloved^H3039 a song^H7892 of my beloved^H3039 touching his vineyard.^H3754 My wellbeloved^H3039 had a vineyard^H3754 in a very fruitful^H1121 hill:^H7161

Yet I had planted^H5193 thee a noble vine,^H8321 wholly a right^H571 seed:^H2233 how then art thou turned^H2015 into the degenerate branches^H5494 of a foreign^H5237 vine^H1612 unto me?

And I said^H559 unto their children^H1121 in the wilderness,^H4057 Walk^H3212 ye not in the statutes^H2706 of your fathers,^H1 neither observe^H8104 their ordinances,^H4941 nor defile^H2930 yourselves with their idols.^H1544

And^G2532 the disciples^G3101 came,^G4334 and said^G2036 unto him,^G1223 Why^G5101 speakest thou^G2980 unto them^G846 in^G1722 parables?^G3850

But^G1161 what^G5101 think^G1380 ye?^G5213 A man^G444 had^G2192 two^G1417 sons;^G5043 and^G2532 he came^G4334 to the first,^G4413 and said,^G2036 Son,^G5043 go^G5217 work^G2038 to-day^G4594 in^G1722 the^G3450 vineyard.^G290

And^G2532 he taught^G1321 them^G846 many things^G4183 in^G1722 parables,^G3850 and^G2532 said^G3004 unto them^G846 in^G1722 his^G846 teaching,^G1322

And^G2532 with^G5108 many^G4183 such^G5108 parables^G3850 spake he^G2980 the word^G3056 unto them,^G846 as^G2531 they were able^G1410 to hear^G191 it;

[ It is] as^G5613 [when] a man,^G444 sojourning^G590 in another country, having left^G863 his^G846 house,^G3614 and^G2532 given^G1325 authority^G1849 to his^G846 servants,^G1401 to^G2532 each one^G1538 his^G846 work,^{G2041 G2532} commanded^G1781 also the porter^G2377 to^G2443 watch.^G1127

And he spake^{G3004 G1161} this^G3778 parable;^G3850 A certain^G5100 man had^G2192 a fig tree^G4808 planted^G5452 in^G1722 his^G846 vineyard;^G290 and^G2532 he came^G2064 seeking^G2212 fruit^{G2590 G1722} thereon,^G846 and^G2532 found^G2147 none.^G3756

What^G5101 advantage^G4053 then^G3767 hath the Jew?^G2453 or^G2228 what^G5101 is the profit^G5622 of circumcision?^G4061

But^G1161 if^G1487 some^G5100 of the branches^G2798 were broken off,^G1575 and^G1161 thou,^G4771 being^G5607 a wild olive,^G65 wast grafted^G1461 in^G1722 among them,^G846 and^G2532 didst become^G1096 partaker^G4791 with them of the root^{G4491 G2532} of the fatness^G4096 of the olive tree;^G1636
