And Jehovah^H3068 sent^H7971 Nathan^H5416 unto David.^H1732 And he came^H935 unto him, and said^H559 unto him, There were two^H8147 men^H582 in one^H259 city;^H5892 the one^H259 rich,^H6223 and the other^H259 poor.^H7326

I will open^H6605 my mouth^H6310 in a parable;^H4912 I will utter^H5042 dark sayings^H2420 of old,^H6924

Son^H1121 of man,^H120 put forth^H2330 a riddle,^H2420 and speak^H4911 a parable^H4912 unto the house^H1004 of Israel;^H3478

And utter^H4911 a parable^H4912 unto the rebellious^H4805 house,^H1004 and say^H559 unto them, Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah,^H3069 Set on^H8239 the caldron,^H5518 set it on,^H8239 and also pour^H3332 water^H4325 into it:

Shall not all these take up^H5375 a parable^H4912 against him, and a taunting^H4426 proverb^H2420 against him, and say,^H559 Woe^H1945 to him that increaseth^H7235 that which is not his! how long? and that ladeth^H3513 himself with pledges!^H5671

And^G2532 he saith^G3004 unto them,^G846 Know ye^G1492 not^G3756 this^G3778 parable?^G3850 and^G2532 how shall^G4459 ye know^G1097 all^G3956 the parables?^G3850

And^G2532 he began^G756 to speak^G3004 unto them^G846 in^G1722 parables.^G3850 A man^G444 planted^G5452 a vineyard,^G290 and^G2532 set^G4060 a hedge about^G5418 it, and^G2532 digged^G3736 a pit for the winepress,^G5276 and^G2532 built^G3618 a tower,^G4444 and^G2532 let^G1554 it^G846 out^G1554 to husbandmen,^G1092 and^G2532 went into another country.^G589

The sower^G4687 went forth^G1831 to sow^G4687 his^G846 seed:^G4703 and^G2532 as^G1722 he^G846 sowed,^G3739 some^G3303 fell^G4098 by^G3844 the way side;^G3598 and^G2532 it was trodden under foot,^G2662 and^G2532 the birds^G4071 of the heaven^G3772 devoured^G2719 it.^G846

And^G1161 Peter^G4074 said,^G2036 Lord,^G2962 speakest thou^G3004 this^G3778 parable^G3850 unto^G4314 us,^G2248 or^G2228 even^G2532 unto^G4314 all?^G3956
