He sitteth^H3427 in the lurking-places^H3993 of the villages;^H2691 In the secret places^H3993 doth he murder^H2026 the innocent;^H5355 His eyes^H5869 are privily set^H6845 against the helpless.^H2489

For without cause^H2600 have they hid^H2934 for me their net^H7568 [in] a pit;^H7845 Without cause^H2600 have they digged^H2658 [a pit] for my soul.^H5315

They encourage^H2388 themselves in an evil^H7451 purpose;^H1697 They commune^H5608 of laying^H2934 snares^H4170 privily;^H2934 They say,^H559 Who will see^H7200 them?

And these lay wait^H693 for their own blood;^H1818 They lurk privily^H6845 for their own lives.^H5315

Lay not wait,^H693 O wicked^H7563 man, against the habitation^H5116 of the righteous;^H6662 Destroy^H7703 not his resting-place:^H7258

There is a generation^H1755 whose teeth^H8127 are [as] swords,^H2719 and their jaw teeth^H4973 [as] knives,^H3979 To devour^H398 the poor^H6041 from off the earth,^H776 and the needy^H34 from among men.^H120

But I was like a gentle^H441 lamb^H3532 that is led^H2986 to the slaughter;^H2873 and I knew^H3045 not that they had devised^H2803 devices^H4284 against me, [saying], Let us destroy^H7843 the tree^H6086 with the fruit^H3899 thereof, and let us cut him off^H3772 from the land^H776 of the living,^H2416 that his name^H8034 may be no more remembered.^H2142

The godly^H2623 man is perished^H6 out of the earth,^H776 and there is none upright^H3477 among men:^H120 they all lie in wait^H693 for blood;^H1818 they hunt^H6679 every man^H376 his brother^H251 with a net.^H2764

But^G235 [this cometh to pass], that^G2443 the word^G3056 may be fulfilled^G4137 that is written^G1125 in^G1722 their^G846 law,^G3754 They hated^G3404 me^G3165 without a cause.^G1432
