TSK · Matthew 13:3

And the Lord sent Nathan vnto Dauid, and he came vnto him, and tolde him: There were two men in one citie, the one rich, & the other poore.

I wyll open my mouth in a parable: I wyll declare harde sentences of the olde tyme past.

Thou sonne of man, put foorth a parable, & speake a prouerbe vnto the house of Israel,

Shewe the rebellious house a parable, and speake vnto them, thus saith the Lorde God: Prepare a pot, set it on, and powre water into it.

Shall not all these take vp a parable against him? and a taunting prouerbe against him, and say: Wo he that increaseth that which is not his? how long? and he that ladeth him selfe with thicke clay?

All these thynges spake Iesus vnto the people in parables: and without a parable spake he not vnto them.

And Iesus aunswered, and spake vnto them againe by parables, and sayde:

And he called them vnto hym, & sayde vnto them in parables: Howe can Satan driue out Satan?

And he sayde vnto them: Knowe ye not this parable? And howe then wyll ye knowe all other parables?

And he beganne to speake vnto them by parables. A certayne man planted a vineyarde, and compassed it about with an hedge, and ordeyned a wynepresse, and built a towre, and let it out vnto husbande men: and went into a straunge countrey.

The sower wet out to sowe his seede: and as he sowed, some fell by the way syde, and it was troden downe, and the foules of the ayre deuoured it vp.

Then Peter saide vnto him: Maister, tellest thou this similitude vnto vs, or to all men?

These thynges haue I spoken vnto you by prouerbes. The tyme wyl come, when I shall no more speake vnto you by prouerbes: but I shall shewe you playnely of my father.
