TSK · Proverbs 16:1

The LORDE sayde vnto him: Who hath made the mouth of man? Or who hath made the domme, or the deaf, or the seynge or ye blynde? Haue not I the LORDE done it?

Go & speake to my seruaut Dauid: Thus sayeth ye LORDE: Shalt thou buylde me an house to dwell in?

Praysed be the LORDE God of oure fathers, which so hath inspyred ye kynges hert to garnysh the house of God at Ierusalem:

My dayes are past, my thoughtes are vanished awaye, which haue vexed myne herte,

Enclyne myne herte vnto thy testimonies, & not to cuvetousnes.

There are many deuices in a mas herte, neuertheles the coucell of ye LORDE shal stode.

The kynges hert is in the hande of the LORDE, like as are the ryuers of water: he maye turne it whyther so euer he wyll.

Now I knowe (o LORDE) that is not in mas power to ordre his owne waies, or to rule his owne steppes & goinges.

A new herte also wil I geue you, and a new sprete wil I put in to you: As for that stony hert, I will take it out of youre body, and geue you a fle?shy herte.

Whan they brynge you in to their synagoges, and to the rulers & officers, take ye no thought, how or what ye shal answere, or what ye shal speake:

Thakes be vnto God, which put in the hert of Titus, the same diligence towarde you.
