Furthermore God said, Let vs make man in our image according to our likenes, and let them rule ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the heauen, and ouer the beastes, and ouer all the earth, and ouer euery thing that creepeth and moueth on the earth.

Who so sheadeth mans blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God hath he made man.

And when king Dauid came to Bahurim, behold, thence came out a man of the familie of the house of Saul, named Shimei the sonne of Gera: and he came out, and cursed.

Therefore Dauid blessed the Lord before all the Congregation, and Dauid sayde, Blessed be thou, O Lorde God, of Israel our father, for euer and euer.

His mouth is full of cursing and deceite and fraude: vnder his tongue is mischiefe and iniquitie.

Therefore shal my tongue praise thee and not cease: O Lorde my God, I will giue thankes vnto thee for euer.

And my tongue shall vtter thy righteousnesse, and thy praise euery day.

Awake my tongue, awake viole & harpe: I wil awake early.

Yet they consult to cast him downe from his dignitie: their delight is in lies, they blesse with their mouthes, but curse with their hearts. Selah.

My tongue also shal talke of thy righteousnesse daily: for they are confounded and brought vnto shame, that seeke mine hurt.

As he loued cursing, so shall it come vnto him, and as he loued not blessing, so shall it be farre from him.

My mouth shall speake the prayse of the Lorde, and all flesh shall blesse his holy Name for euer and euer.

Therefore the Lord sayd, Because this people come neere vnto me with their mouth, and honour me with their lips, but haue remooued their heart farre from me, and their feare toward me was taught by the precept of men,

Then began hee to curse himselfe, and to sweare, saying, I knowe not the man; immediately the cocke crewe.

Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitternesse.

Blessed be God, and the Father of our Lorde Iesus Christ, which hath blessed vs with all spirituall blessing in heauenly thinges in Christ,
