TSK · 1 Chronicles 21:30

¶ And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God [home] to me?

Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid.

Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him.

My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.

Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise [men] of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, [there is] none like unto thee.

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, ‹Fear not; I am the first and the last:›
