[But] the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I [am] the LORD your God.

¶ If thou forbear to deliver [them that are] drawn unto death, and [those that are] ready to be slain;

And Jesus answering said, ‹A certain› [man] ‹went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded› [him], ‹and departed, leaving› [him] ‹half dead.›

And the next [day] we touched at Sidon. And Julius courteously entreated Paul, and gave [him] liberty to go unto his friends to refresh himself.

I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.

And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
