TSK · Isaiah 37:35

Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's sake: [but] I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.

Nevertheless for David's sake did the LORD his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem:

O LORD, for thy servant's sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making known all [these] great things.

And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.

¶ For my name's sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.

Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not [this] for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
