And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.

¶ And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?

They have corrupted themselves, their spot [is] not [the spot] of his children: [they are] a perverse and crooked generation.

And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation [that] set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.

¶ But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

But he answered and said unto them, ‹An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:›

‹A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas.› And he left them, and departed.

‹Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.›

But when Jesus saw [it], he was much displeased, and said unto them, ‹Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.›

Luke 8:25 TSK

And he said unto them, ‹Where is your faith?› And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

Then saith he to Thomas, ‹Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust› [it] ‹into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.›

And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness.

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard [it].

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
