¶ And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath [went] into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.
¶ The king's wrath [is] as the roaring of a lion; but his favour [is] as dew upon the grass.
¶ Many seek the ruler's favour; but [every] man's judgment [cometh] from the LORD.
Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation.
And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,
¶ And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king's chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king's [country].
