An Exhortation to Love Both God and People Now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you except to revere him, to obey all his commandments, to love him, to serve him with all your mind and being,

David was afraid of God that day and said,“How will I ever be able to bring the ark of God up here?”

Remove your hand far from me and stop making me afraid with your terror.

That is why I am terrified in his presence; when I consider, I am afraid because of him.
