“Tell Aaron and his sons,‘This is the way you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them:

But respond favorably to your servant’s prayer and his request for help, O LORD my God. Answer the desperate prayer your servant is presenting to you today.

For the music director; to be accompanied by stringed instruments; a psalm, a song. May God show us his favor and bless us! May he smile on us!(Selah)

Hurry to the permanent ruins, and to all the damage the enemy has done to the temple!

O God, restore us! Smile on us! Then we will be delivered!

O God of Heaven’s Armies, restore us! Smile on us! Then we will be delivered!

Smile on your servant! Teach me your statutes!

For wild animals are prowling over Mount Zion, which lies desolate.

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive it, so that your joy may be complete.

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb.
