Ezra 10:1 TSK

The People Confess Their Sins While Ezra was praying and confessing, weeping and throwing himself to the ground before the temple of God, a very large crowd of Israelites– men, women, and children alike– gathered around him. The people wept loudly.

If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand be crippled!

For there is not one truly righteous person on the earth who continually does good and never sins.

I will bring them to my holy mountain; I will make them happy in the temple where people pray to me. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar, for my temple will be known as a temple where all nations may pray.”

I post watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they should keep praying all day and all night. You who pray to the LORD, don’t be silent!

So I turned my attention to the Lord God to implore him by prayer and requests, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.

In those days I, Daniel, was mourning for three whole weeks.

Acts 4:31 TSK

When they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God courageously.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

If we say we do not bear the guilt of sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.

So he took me away in the Spirit to a huge, majestic mountain and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.
