TSK · Exodus 23:1

“You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

Dealing Honestly“‘You must not steal, you must not tell lies, and you must not deal falsely with your fellow citizen.

You must not offer false testimony against another.

The king asked,“Where is your master’s grandson?” Ziba replied to the king,“He remains in Jerusalem, for he said,‘Today the house of Israel will give back to me my grandfather’s kingdom.’”

Also seat two villains opposite him and have them testify,‘You cursed God and the king.’ Then take him out and stone him to death.”

Do not turn me over to my enemies, for false witnesses who want to destroy me testify against me.

I will destroy anyone who slanders his neighbor in secret. I will not tolerate anyone who has a haughty demeanor and an arrogant attitude.

a false witness who pours out lies, and a person who spreads discord among family members.

The faithful witness tells what is right, but a false witness speaks deceit.

A false witness will not go unpunished, and the one who spouts out lies will not escape punishment.

A crooked witness scorns justice, and the mouth of the wicked devours iniquity.

Do not be a witness against your neighbor without cause, and do not deceive with your words.

The north wind brings forth rain, and a gossiping tongue brings forth an angry look.

“Which ones?” he asked. Jesus replied,“Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony,

If this matter is heard before the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.”

But Zacchaeus stopped and said to the Lord,“Look, Lord, half of my possessions I now give to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone of anything, I am paying back four times as much!”

And why not say,“Let us do evil so that good may come of it”?– as some who slander us allege that we say.(Their condemnation is deserved!)

unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, savage, opposed to what is good,

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying,“The salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the ruling authority of his Christ, have now come, because the accuser of our brothers and sisters, the one who accuses them day and night before our God, has been thrown down.
