And the LORD God said,“Now that the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil, he must not be allowed to stretch out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

Every living creature of the earth and every bird of the sky will be terrified of you. Everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea are under your authority.

Come, let’s go down and confuse their language so they won’t be able to understand each other.”

But no one says,‘Where is God, my Creator, who gives songs in the night,

Of what importance is the human race, that you should notice them? Of what importance is mankind, that you should pay attention to them?

Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us and we belong to him; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Let Israel rejoice in their Creator! Let the people of Zion delight in their King!

We will make for you gold ornaments studded with silver.

Yet, LORD, you are our father. We are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the product of your labor.

So he told them,“My Father is working until now, and I too am working.”

For you are bringing some surprising things to our ears, so we want to know what they mean.”

For in him we live and move about and exist, as even some of your own poets have said,‘For we too are his offspring.’

And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

and to put on the new man who has been created in God’s image– in righteousness and holiness that comes from truth.

and have been clothed with the new man that is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of the one who created it.

For every kind of animal, bird, reptile, and sea creature is subdued and has been subdued by humankind.

For there are three that testify,
