TSK · Genesis 21:1

God said,“No, Sarah your wife is going to bear you a son, and you will name him Isaac. I will confirm my covenant with him as a perpetual covenant for his descendants after him.

One of them said,“I will surely return to you when the season comes round again, and your wife Sarah will have a son!”(Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, not far behind him.

Then Joseph said to his brothers,“I am about to die. But God will surely come to you and lead you up from this land to the land he swore on oath to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

and the people believed. When they heard that the LORD had attended to the Israelites and that he had seen their affliction, they bowed down close to the ground.

So she decided to return home from the region of Moab, accompanied by her daughters-in-law, because while she was living in Moab she had heard that the LORD had shown concern for his people, reversing the famine by providing abundant crops.

The woman did conceive, and at the specified time the next year she gave birth to a son, just as Elisha had told her.

Remember me, O LORD, when you show favor to your people! Pay attention to me, when you deliver,

“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, because he has come to help and has redeemed his people.

(as it is written,“I have made you the father of many nations”). He is our father in the presence of God whom he believed– the God who makes the dead alive and summons the things that do not yet exist as though they already do.

But you, brothers and sisters, are children of the promise like Isaac.
