You are still exalting yourself against my people by not releasing them.

Therefore you and all your company have assembled together against the LORD! And Aaron– what is he that you murmur against him?”

When they really started celebrating, they said,“Call for Samson so he can entertain us!” So they summoned Samson from the prison and he entertained them. They made him stand between two pillars.

His anger has torn me and persecuted me; he has gnashed at me with his teeth; my adversary locks his eyes on me.

They open their mouths to devour me like a roaring lion that rips its prey.

They are ready to devour me; they say,“Aha! Aha! We’ve got you!”

Beware sinful nation, the people weighed down by evil deeds. They are offspring who do wrong, children who do wicked things. They have abandoned the LORD, and rejected the Holy One of Israel. They are alienated from him.

Egypt Will Prove Unreliable“The rebellious children are as good as dead,” says the LORD,“those who make plans without consulting me, who form alliances without consulting my Spirit, and thereby compound their sin.

Whom have you taunted and hurled insults at? At whom have you shouted and looked so arrogantly? At the Holy One of Israel!

For whenever I prophesy, I must cry out,“Violence and destruction are coming!” This message from the LORD has made me an object of continual insults and derision.

The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and hard-hearted, and you must say to them,‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says.’

The field is the world and the good seed are the people of the kingdom. The poisonous weeds are the people of the evil one,

Those who passed by defamed him, shaking their heads

He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him,“Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”

Live in the Light Let nobody deceive you with empty words, for because of these things God’s wrath comes on the sons of disobedience.

suffering harm as the wages for their harmful ways. By considering it a pleasure to carouse in broad daylight, they are stains and blemishes, indulging in their deceitful pleasures when they feast together with you.
