TSK · Job 20:2

“If someone should attempt a word with you, will you be impatient? But who can refrain from speaking?

When I hear a reproof that dishonors me, then my understanding prompts me to answer.

I jumped to conclusions and said,“I am cut off from your presence!” But you heard my plea for mercy when I cried out to you for help.

I rashly declared,“All men are liars.”

You have seen someone who is hasty in his words– there is more hope for a fool than for him.

Sometimes I think,“I will make no mention of his message. I will not speak as his messenger any more.” But then his message becomes like a fire locked up inside of me, burning in my heart and soul. I grow weary of trying to hold it in; I cannot contain it.

For I can testify that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not in line with the truth.
