Joshua said,“Roll large stones over the mouth of the cave and post guards in front of it.

They are immune to the trouble common to men; they do not suffer as other men do.

Wealth does not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.

God Takes Vengeance against His Enemies The LORD is a zealous and avenging God; the LORD is avenging and very angry. The LORD takes vengeance against his foes; he sustains his rage against his enemies.

But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath for yourselves in the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment is revealed!

But by the same word the present heavens and earth have been reserved for fire, by being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

because the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to withstand it?”
