TSK · Numbers 29:1

On the first day there will be a holy assembly for you; you must not do any regular work.

“Tell the Israelites,‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you must have a complete rest, a memorial announced by loud horn blasts, a holy assembly.

“‘On the eighth day you are to have a holy assembly; you must do no ordinary work on it.

From the first day of the seventh month they began to offer burnt offerings to the LORD. However, the LORD’s temple was not at that time established.

So Ezra the priest brought the law before the assembly which included men and women and all those able to understand what they heard.(This happened on the first day of the seventh month.)

How blessed are the people who worship you! O LORD, they experience your favor.

Then the LORD will appear above them, and his arrow will shoot forth like lightning; the Sovereign LORD will blow the trumpet and will proceed in the southern storm winds.

How are they to call on one they have not believed in? And how are they to believe in one they have not heard of? And how are they to hear without someone preaching to them?
