TSK · Proverbs 13:4

That day Isaac’s servants came and told him about the well they had dug.“We’ve found water,” they reported.

They returned and reported to Joshua,“Don’t send the whole army. About two or three thousand men are adequate to defeat Ai. Don’t tire out the whole army, for Ai is small.”

by making your ear attentive to wisdom, and by turning your heart to understanding,

The one who is lazy becomes poor, but the one who works diligently becomes wealthy.

The one who works his field will have plenty of food, but whoever chases daydreams lacks sense.

The lazy person does not roast his prey, but personal possessions are precious to the diligent.

I passed by the field of a sluggard, by the vineyard of one who lacks sense.

The sluggard has said,“There is a lion in the road! A lion in the streets!”

The Beloved to Her Lover:“I have already taken off my robe– must I put it on again? I have already washed my feet– must I soil them again?”

Do not work for the food that disappears, but for the food that remains to eternal life– the food which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has put his seal of approval on him.”

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith excellence, to excellence, knowledge;
