TSK · Proverbs 22:23

If you afflict them in any way and they cry to me, I will surely hear their cry,

May the LORD be our judge and arbiter. May he see and arbitrate my case and deliver me from your hands!”

“Because of the violence done to the oppressed, because of the painful cries of the needy, I will spring into action,” says the LORD.“I will provide the safety they so desperately desire.”

Vindicate me, O God! Fight for me against an ungodly nation! Deliver me from deceitful and evil men!

The LORD does what is fair, and executes justice for all the oppressed.

Certainly the godly will give thanks to your name; the morally upright will live in your presence.

for their Protector is strong; he will plead their case against you.

But all who destroyed you will be destroyed. All your enemies will go into exile. Those who plundered you will be plundered. I will cause those who pillaged you to be pillaged.

Therefore the LORD says,“I will stand up for your cause. I will pay the Babylonians back for what they have done to you. I will dry up their sea. I will make their springs run dry.

Because you robbed many countries, all who are left among the nations will rob you. You have shed human blood and committed violent acts against lands, cities, and those who live in them.
