Job 20:16 TSK

He shall suck the poison of asps: The viper's tongue shall slay him.

[For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David]. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: Jehovah will deliver him in the day of evil.

Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: [He is] gracious, and merciful, and righteous.

He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; For he giveth of his bread to the poor.

And the instruments of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the meek with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.

Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by showing mercy to the poor; if there may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
