I will also make^H7760 it a possession^H4180 for the porcupine,^H7090 and pools^H98 of water:^H4325 and I will sweep^H2894 it with the besom^H4292 of destruction,^H8045 saith^H5002 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts.^H6635

And thorns^H5518 shall come up^H5927 in its palaces,^H759 nettles^H7057 and thistles^H2336 in the fortresses^H4013 thereof; and it shall be a habitation^H5116 of jackals,^H8577 a court^H2681 for ostriches.^H1323

And the glowing sand^H8273 shall become a pool,^H98 and the thirsty ground^H6774 springs^H4002 of water:^H4325 in the habitation^H5116 of jackals,^H8577 where they lay,^H7258 shall be grass^H2682 with reeds^H7070 and rushes.^H1573

Thy doom^H6843 is come^H935 unto thee, O inhabitant^H3427 of the land:^H776 the time^H6256 is come,^H935 the day^H3117 is near,^H7138 [a day of] tumult,^H4103 and not [of] joyful shouting,^H1906 upon the mountains.^H2022

And herds^H5739 shall lie down^H7257 in the midst^H8432 of her, all the beasts^H2416 of the nations:^H1471 both the pelican^H6893 and the porcupine^H7090 shall lodge^H3885 in the capitals^H3730 thereof; [their] voice^H6963 shall sing^H7891 in the windows;^H2474 desolation^H2721 shall be in the thresholds:^H5592 for he hath laid bare^H6168 the cedar-work.^H731

The Lord^G2962 is^G1019 not^G3756 slack^G1019 concerning his promise,^G1860 as^G5613 some^G5100 count^G2233 slackness;^G1022 but^G235 is longsuffering^G3114 to^G1519 you-ward,^G2248 not^G3361 wishing that^G1014 any^G5100 should perish,^G622 but that^G235 all^G3956 should come^G5562 to^G1519 repentance.^G3341
