And it came to pass in the course^H1992 of those many days,^H3117 that the king^H4428 of Egypt^H4714 died:^H4191 and the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 sighed^H584 by reason of^H4480 the bondage,^H5656 and they cried,^H2199 and their cry^H7775 came up^H5927 unto God^H430 by reason of the bondage.^H5656

And a sojourner^H1616 shalt thou not wrong,^H3238 neither shalt thou oppress^H3905 him: for ye were sojourners^H1616 in the land^H776 of Egypt.^H4714

Then there arose a great^H1419 cry^H6818 of the people^H5971 and of their wives^H802 against their brethren^H251 the Jews.^H3064

So that they caused the cry^H6818 of the poor^H1800 to come^H935 unto him, And he heard^H8085 the cry^H6818 of the afflicted.^H6041

And the stock^H3657 which thy right hand^H3225 planted,^H5193 And the branch^H1121 that thou madest strong^H553 for thyself.

For Jehovah^H3068 taketh pleasure^H7521 in his people:^H5971 He will beautify^H6286 the meek^H6035 with salvation.^H3444

How fair^H3302 and how pleasant^H5276 art thou, O love,^H160 for delights!^H8588

How is the faithful^H539 city^H7151 become a harlot!^H2181 she that was full^H4392 of justice!^H4941 righteousness^H6664 lodged^H3885 in her, but now murderers.^H7523

therefore the Lord^H136 will smite with a scab^H5596 the crown of the head^H6936 of the daughters^H1323 of Zion,^H6726 and Jehovah^H3068 will lay bare^H6168 their secret parts.^H6596

Hearken^H8085 unto me, ye stout-hearted,^H47 that are far from^H7350 righteousness:^H6666

For as a young man^H970 marrieth^H1166 a virgin,^H1330 so shall thy sons^H1121 marry^H1166 thee; and as the bridegroom^H2860 rejoiceth^H4885 over the bride,^H3618 so shall thy God^H430 rejoice^H7797 over thee.

Israel^H3478 is a luxuriant^H1238 vine,^H1612 that putteth forth^H7737 his fruit:^H6529 according to the abundance^H7230 of his fruit^H6529 he hath multiplied^H7235 his altars;^H4196 according to the goodness^H2896 of their land^H776 they have made goodly^H2895 [ pillars.]^H4676

Why dost thou show^H7200 me iniquity,^H205 and look^H5027 upon perverseness?^H5999 for destruction^H7701 and violence^H2555 are before me; and there is strife,^H7379 and contention^H4066 riseth up.^H5375

Thus hath Jehovah^H3068 of hosts^H6635 spoken,^H559 saying,^H559 Execute^H8199 true^H571 judgment,^H4941 and show^H6213 kindness^H2617 and compassion^H7356 every man^H376 to his brother;^H251

Woe^G3759 unto you,^G5213 scribes^G1122 and^G2532 Pharisees,^G5330 hypocrites!^G5273 for^G3754 ye tithe^G586 mint^G2238 and^G2532 anise^G432 and^G2532 cummin,^G2951 and^G2532 have left undone^G863 the weightier^G926 matters of the law,^G3551 justice,^G2532 and mercy,^G1656 and^G2532 faith:^G4102 but these^G5023 ye^G1163 ought to have done,^G4160 and^G2548 not^G3361 to have left^G863 the other^G2548 undone.^G863

Every^G3956 branch^G2814 in^G1722 me^G1698 that beareth^G5342 not^G3361 fruit,^G2590 he^G846 taketh it away:^G142 and^G2532 every^G3956 [branch] that beareth^G5342 fruit,^G2590 he cleanseth^G2508 it,^G846 that^G2443 it may bear^G5342 more^G4119 fruit.^G2590

Behold,^G2400 the hire^G3408 of the laborers^G2040 who^G3588 mowed^G270 your^G5216 fields,^G5561 which is of^G575 you^G5216 kept back by fraud,^G650 crieth^G2896 out: and^G2532 the cries^G995 of them^G3588 that reaped^G2325 have entered^G1525 into^G1519 the ears^G3775 of the Lord^G2962 of Sabaoth.^G4519
