And he said,^H559 Go,^H3212 and tell^H559 this people,^H5971 Hear^H8085 ye indeed,^H8085 but understand^H995 not; and see^H7200 ye indeed,^H7200 but perceive^H3045 not.

Hear,^H8085 ye deaf;^H2795 and look,^H5027 ye blind,^H5787 that ye may see.^H7200

Then Jehovah^H3068 put forth^H7971 his hand,^H3027 and touched^H5060 my mouth;^H6310 and Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto me, Behold, I have put^H5414 my words^H1697 in thy mouth:^H6310

the blind^G5185 receive their sight,^G308 and^G2532 the lame^G5560 walk,^G4043 the lepers^G3015 are cleansed,^G2511 and^G2532 the deaf^G2974 hear,^G191 and the dead^G3498 are raised up,^G1453 and^G2532 the poor^G4434 have good tidings preached to them.^G2097

To shine^G2014 upon them^G3588 that sit^G2521 in^G1722 darkness^G4655 and^G2532 the shadow^G4639 of death;^G2288 To guide^G2720 our^G2257 feet^G4228 into^G1519 the way^G3598 of peace.^G1515

The Spirit^G4151 of the Lord^G2962 is upon^G1909 me,^G1691 Because^G1752 he anointed^G5548 me^G3165 to preach good tidings^G2097 to the poor:^G4434 He hath sent^G649 me^G3165 to proclaim^G2784 release^G859 to the captives,^G164 And^G2532 recovering of sight^G309 to the blind,^G5185 To set^G649 at^G1722 liberty^G859 them that are bruised,^G3739

The lamp^G3088 of thy body^G4983 is^G2076 thine eye:^{G3788 G3767} when^G3752 thine^G4675 eye^G3788 is^G5600 single,^G573 thy^G4675 whole^G3650 body^G4983 also^G2532 is^G2076 full of light;^G5460 but^G1161 when^G1875 it is^G5600 evil,^G4190 thy^G4675 body^G4983 also^G2532 is full of darkness.^G4652

For^G1063 God^G2316 sent^G649 not^G3756 the^G846 Son^G5207 into^G1519 the world^G2889 to^G2443 judge^G2919 the world;^G2889 but^G235 that^G2443 the world^G2889 should be saved^G4982 through^G1223 him.^G846

For^G1063 neither^G3761 doth the Father^G3962 judge^G2919 any man,^G3762 but^G235 he hath given^G1325 all^G3956 judgment^G2920 unto the Son;^G5207

Ye^G5210 judge^G2919 after^G2596 the flesh;^G4561 I^G1473 judge^G2919 no^G3756 man.^G3762

He^G1565 answered^G611 and^G2532 said,^G2036 And who^G5101 is he,^G2076 Lord,^G2962 that^G2443 I may believe^G4100 on^G1519 him?^G846

I^G1473 am come^G2064 a light^G5457 into^G1519 the world,^G2889 that^G2443 whosoever^G3956 believeth^G4100 on^G1519 me^G1691 may^G3306 not^G3361 abide^G3306 in^G1722 the darkness.^G4653

What^G5101 then?^G3767 that^G5127 which^G3739 Israel^G2474 seeketh for,^G1934 that he ^G2013 obtained^G2013 not;^G3756 but^G1161 the election^G1589 obtained it,^G2013 and^G1161 the rest^G3062 were hardened:^G4456

in^G1722 whom^G3739 the god^G2316 of this^G5127 world^G165 hath blinded^{G5186 G1519} the minds^G3540 of the unbelieving,^G571 that^G3361 the light^G5462 of the gospel^G2098 of the glory^G1391 of Christ,^G5547 who^G3739 is^G2076 the image^G1504 of God,^G2316 should not dawn^G826 [upon them].^G846

and^G2532 with^G1722 all^G3956 deceit^G539 of unrighteousness^G93 for^G1722 them that perish;^G622 because^G473 they received^G1209 not^G3756 the love^G26 of the truth,^G225 that^G1519 they^G846 might be saved.^G3739

But^G1161 he that hateth^G3404 his^G846 brother^G80 is^G2076 in^G1722 the darkness,^G4653 and^G2532 walketh^G4043 in^G1722 the darkness,^G4653 and^G2532 knoweth^G1492 not^G3756 whither^G4225 he goeth,^G5217 because^G3754 the darkness^G4653 hath blinded^G5186 his^G846 eyes.^G3788
