By night^H3915 on my bed^H4904 I sought^H1245 him whom my soul^H5315 loveth:^H157 I sought^H1245 him, but I found^H4672 him not.

His watchmen^H6822 are blind,^H5787 they are all without knowledge;^H3045 they are all dumb^H483 dogs,^H3611 they cannot^H3201 bark;^H5024 dreaming,^H1957 lying down,^H7901 loving^H157 to slumber.^H5123

Now while^G1161 the bridegroom^G3566 tarried,^G5549 they^G3573 all^G3956 slumbered^G3573 and^G2532 slept.^G2518

And^G2532 again^G3825 he came, and^G2532 found^G2147 them^G846 sleeping,^G2518 for^G1063 their^G846 eyes^G3788 were^G2258 very heavy;^G916 and^G2532 they^G1492 knew not^G3756 what^G5101 to answer^G611 him.^G846
