And Abraham^H85 said^H559 unto his servant,^H5650 the elder^H2205 of his house,^H1004 that ruled over^H4910 all that he had, Put,^H7760 I pray thee, thy hand^H3027 under my thigh:^H3409

And the keeper^H8269 of the prison^H1004 committed^H5414 to Joseph's^H3130 hand^H3027 all the prisoners^H615 that were in the prison;^H1004 and whatsoever they did^H6213 there, he was the doer^H6213 of it.

Therefore Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 saith,^H5002 I said^H559 indeed^H559 that thy house,^H1004 and the house^H1004 of thy father,^H1 should walk^H1980 before^H6440 me for^H5704 ever:^H5769 but now Jehovah^H3068 saith,^H5002 Be it far from me;^H2486 for them that honor^H3513 me I will honor,^H3513 and they that despise^H959 me shall be lightly esteemed.^H7043

And the Syrians^H758 had gone out^H3318 in bands,^H1416 and had brought away captive^H7617 out of the land^H776 of Israel^H3478 a little^H6996 maiden;^H5291 and she waited on^H6440 Naaman's^H5283 wife.^H802

The leprosy^H6883 therefore of Naaman^H5283 shall cleave^H1692 unto thee, and unto thy seed^H2233 for ever.^H5769 And he went out^H3318 from his presence^H6440 a leper^H6879 [as white] as snow.^H7950

Behold, as the eyes^H5869 of servants^H5650 [look] unto the hand^H3027 of their master,^H113 As the eyes^H5869 of a maid^H8198 unto the hand^H3027 of her mistress;^H1404 So our eyes^H5869 [look] unto Jehovah^H3068 our God,^H430 Until he have mercy^H2603 upon us.

Seest^H2372 thou a man^H376 diligent^H4106 in his business?^H4399 he shall stand^H3320 before^H6440 kings;^H4428 He shall not stand^H3320 before^H6440 mean^H2823 men.

Behold,^G2400 I have told^G4280 you^G5213 beforehand.^G4280

His^G846 lord^G2962 said^G5346 unto him,^G846 Well done,^G2095 good^G18 and^G2532 faithful^G4103 servant:^G1401 thou hast been^G2258 faithful^G4103 over^G1909 a few things,^G3641 I will set^G2525 thee^G4571 over^G1909 many things;^G3641 enter thou^G1525 into^G1519 the joy^G5479 of^G2962 thy^G4675 lord.^G2962

Blessed^G3107 are those^G1565 servants,^G1401 whom^G3739 the lord^G2962 when he cometh^G2064 shall find^G2147 watching:^G1127 verily^G281 I say^G3004 unto you,^G5213 that^G3754 he shall gird himself,^G4024 and^G2532 make^G347 them^G846 sit down to meat,^G347 and^G2532 shall come^G3928 and serve^G1247 them.^G846

And^G2532 he said^G2036 unto him,^G846 Well^G2095 done, thou good^G18 servant:^G1401 because^G3754 thou wast^G1096 found faithful^G4103 in^G1722 a very little,^G1646 have^G2192 thou^G2468 authority^G1849 over^G1883 ten^G1176 cities.^G4172

And^G1161 when^G5613 the angel^G32 that^G3588 spake^G2980 unto him^G2883 was departed,^G565 he called^G5455 two^G1417 of his^G846 household-servants,^G3610 and^G2532 a devout^G2152 soldier^G4757 of them^G3588 that waited^G4342 on him^G846 continually;^G4342

What^G5101 soldier^G4754 ever^G4218 serveth at his own^G2398 charges?^G3800 who^G5101 planteth^G5452 a vineyard,^G290 and^G2532 eateth^G2068 not^G3756 the fruit^G2590 thereof?^G846 Or^G2228 who^G5101 feedeth^G4165 a flock,^G4167 and^G2532 eateth^G2068 not^G3756 of^G1537 the milk^G1051 of^G1537 the flock?^G4167

Servants,^G1401 obey^G5219 in^G2596 all things^G3956 them that are your masters^G2962 according to^G2596 the flesh;^G4561 not^G3361 with^G1722 eye-service,^G3787 as^G5613 men-pleasers,^G441 but^G235 in^G1722 singleness^G572 of heart,^G2588 fearing^G5399 the Lord:^G2316

Servants,^G3610 [be] in subjection^G5293 to^G1203 your masters^G1203 with^G1722 all^G3956 fear;^G5401 not^G3756 only^G3440 to the good^G18 and^G2532 gentle,^G1933 but^G235 also^G2532 to the froward.^G4646
