Then God saide, Let there be light: And there was light.

God saide againe, Let the waters vnder the heauen be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appeare; it was so.

And God said, Let there be lightes in the firmament of the heauen, to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signes, and for seasons, and for dayes and yeeres.

For he spake, and it was done: he commanded, and it stood.

He spake, and the grashoppers came, and caterpillers innumerable,

I, euen I am the Lorde, and beside me there is no Sauiour.

Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt knowe no God but me: for there is no Sauiour beside me.

Nowe the Lorde had prepared a great fish to swallowe vp Ionah: and Ionah was in the belly of the fish three dayes, and three nightes.

And he said vnto them, Why are ye fearefull, O ye of litle faith? Then he arose, & rebuked the winds & the sea: & so there was a great calme.
