¶ And their father Israel said unto them, If [it must be] so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:
Now therefore know and consider what thou wilt do; for evil is determined against our master, and against all his household: for he [is such] a son of Belial, that [a man] cannot speak to him.
Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you [after your] folly, in that ye have not spoken of me [the thing which is] right, like my servant Job.
¶ A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but [he that is] slow to anger appeaseth strife.
¶ A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath.
In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
