¶ If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,

And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade [him], and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

¶ Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not [in him] the lips of knowledge.

Then Jesus said unto them, ‹Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.›
