Wherefore the anger^H639 of Jehovah^H3068 was kindled^H2734 against Amaziah,^H558 and he sent^H7971 unto him a prophet,^H5030 who said^H559 unto him, Why hast thou sought^H1875 after the gods^H430 of the people,^H5971 which have not delivered^H5337 their own people^H5971 out of thy hand?^H3027

Now go,^H935 write^H3789 it before them on a tablet,^H3871 and inscribe^H2710 it in a book,^H5612 that it may be for the time^H3117 to come^H314 for^H5704 ever^H5703 and ever.^H5769

Thus speaketh^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 saying,^H559 Because thou hast sent^H7971 letters^H5612 in thine own name^H8034 unto all the people^H5971 that are at Jerusalem,^H3389 and to Zephaniah^H6846 the son^H1121 of Maaseiah,^H4641 the priest,^H3548 and to all the priests,^H3548 saying,^H559

Thou sawest^H2370 till^H5705 that a stone^H69 was cut out^H1505 without^H3809 hands,^H3028 which smote^H4223 the image^H6755 upon^H5922 its feet^H7271 that were of iron^H6523 and clay,^H2635 and brake^H1855 them^H1994 in pieces.^H1855

Also Amaziah^H558 said^H559 unto Amos,^H5986 O thou seer,^H2374 go,^H3212 flee thou away^H1272 into the land^H776 of Judah,^H3063 and there eat^H398 bread,^H3899 and prophesy^H5012 there:

but^G1161 if^G1487 it is^G2076 of^G1537 God,^G2316 ye will^G1410 not^G3756 be^G2076 able to overthrow^G2647 them;^G846 lest haply ye be found^G2147 even^G2532 to be fighting against God.^G2314
