and, behold, seven^H7651 ears,^H7641 withered,^H6798 thin,^H1851 [and] blasted^H7710 with the east wind,^H6921 sprung up^H6779 after them:^H310

And his father^H1 refused,^H3985 and said,^H559 I know^H3045 [it], my son,^H1121 I know^H3045 [it]; he also shall become a people,^H5971 and he also shall be great:^H1431 howbeit^H199 his younger^H6996 brother^H251 shall be greater^H1431 than he, and his seed^H2233 shall become a multitude^H4393 of nations.^H1471

The firstling^H1060 of his herd,^H7794 majesty^H1926 is his; And his horns^H7161 are the horns^H7161 of the wild-ox:^H7214 With them he shall push^H5055 the peoples^H5971 all^H3162 of them, [even] the ends^H657 of the earth:^H776 And they are the ten thousands^H7233 of Ephraim,^H669 And they are the thousands^H505 of Manasseh.^H4519

The wicked^H7563 are not so, But are like the chaff^H4671 which the wind^H7307 driveth away.^H5086

Prepare^H3559 ye slaughter^H4293 for his children^H1121 for the iniquity^H5771 of their fathers,^H1 that they rise^H6965 not^H1077 up, and possess^H3423 the earth,^H776 and fill^H4390 the face^H6440 of the world^H8398 with cities.^H6145

Thou shalt winnow^H2219 them, and the wind^H7307 shall carry them away,^H5375 and the whirlwind^H5591 shall scatter^H6327 them; and thou shalt rejoice^H1523 in Jehovah,^H3068 thou shalt glory^H1984 in the Holy One^H6918 of Israel.^H3478

Moreover I will give^H5414 all the riches^H2633 of this city,^H5892 and all the gains^H3018 thereof, and all the precious things^H3366 thereof, yea, all the treasures^H214 of the kings^H4428 of Judah^H3063 will I give^H5414 into the hand^H3027 of their enemies;^H341 and they shall make them a prey,^H962 and take^H3947 them, and carry^H935 them to Babylon.^H894

Yea, behold, being planted,^H8362 shall it prosper?^H6743 shall it not utterly^H3001 wither,^H3001 when the east^H6921 wind^H7307 toucheth^H5060 it? it shall wither^H3001 in the beds^H6170 where it grew.^H6780

And also their gods,^H430 with their molten images,^H5257 [and] with their goodly^H2532 vessels^H3627 of silver^H3701 and of gold,^H2091 shall he carry^H935 captive^H7628 into Egypt;^H4714 and he shall refrain^H5975 some years^H8141 from the king^H4428 of the north.^H6828

As for Ephraim,^H669 their glory^H3519 shall fly away^H5774 like a bird:^H5775 there shall be no birth,^H3205 and none with child,^H990 and no conception.^H2032

And it came to pass, when the sun^H8121 arose,^H2224 that God^H430 prepared^H4487 a sultry^H2759 east^H6921 wind;^H7307 and the sun^H8121 beat^H5221 upon the head^H7218 of Jonah,^H3124 that he fainted,^H5968 and requested^H7592 for himself^H5315 that he might die,^H4191 and said,^H559 It is better^H2896 for me to die^H4194 than to live.^H2416
