The earth^H776 also is polluted^H2610 under the inhabitants^H3427 thereof; because they have transgressed^H5674 the laws,^H8451 violated^H2498 the statutes,^H2706 broken^H6565 the everlasting^H5769 covenant.^H1285

but your iniquities^H5771 have separated^H914 between^H996 you and your God,^H430 and your sins^H2403 have hid^H5641 his face^H6440 from you, so that he will not hear.^H8085

Run ye to and fro^H7751 through the streets^H2351 of Jerusalem,^H3389 and see^H7200 now, and know,^H3045 and seek^H1245 in the broad places^H7339 thereof, if ye can find^H4672 a man,^H376 if there be^H3426 any that doeth^H6213 justly,^H4941 that seeketh^H1245 truth;^H530 and I will pardon^H5545 her.

How^H335 can I pardon^H5545 thee? thy^H2063 children^H1121 have forsaken^H5800 me, and sworn^H7650 by them that are no^H3808 gods.^H430 When I had fed them to the full,^H7650 they committed adultery,^H5003 and assembled themselves in troops^H1413 at the harlots'^H2181 houses.^H1004

As a well^H953 casteth forth^H6979 its waters,^H4325 so she casteth forth^H6979 her wickedness:^H7451 violence^H2555 and destruction^H7701 is heard^H8085 in her; before me^H6440 continually^H8548 is sickness^H2483 and wounds.^H4347

Oh that^H5414 I had in the wilderness^H4057 a lodging-place^H4411 of wayfaring men;^H732 that I might leave^H5800 my people,^H5971 and go^H3212 from them! for they are all adulterers,^H5003 an assembly^H6116 of treacherous men.^H898

[ It is] because of the sins^H2403 of her prophets,^H5030 [and] the iniquities^H5771 of her priests,^H3548 That have shed^H8210 the blood^H1818 of the just^H6662 in the midst^H7130 of her.

There is a conspiracy^H7195 of her prophets^H5030 in the midst^H8432 thereof, like a roaring^H7580 lion^H738 ravening^H2963 the prey:^H2964 they have devoured^H398 souls;^H5315 they take^H3947 treasure^H2633 and precious things;^H3366 they have made her widows^H490 many^H7235 in the midst^H8432 thereof.

And as troops^H1416 of robbers wait^H2442 for a man,^H376 so the company^H2267 of priests^H3548 murder^H7523 in the way^H1870 toward Shechem;^H7926 yea, they have committed^H6213 lewdness.^H2154

They make the king^H4428 glad^H8055 with their wickedness,^H7451 and the princes^H8269 with their lies.^H3585

Ephraim^H669 hath provoked to anger^H3707 most bitterly:^H8563 therefore shall his blood^H1818 be left^H5203 upon him, and his reproach^H2781 shall his Lord^H113 return^H7725 unto him.

ye who hate^H8130 the good,^H2896 and love^H157 the evil;^H7451 who pluck off^H1497 their skin^H5785 from off them, and their flesh^H7607 from off their bones;^H6106

Are there^H786 yet treasures^H214 of wickedness^H7562 in the house^H1004 of the wicked,^H7563 and a scant^H7332 measure^H374 that is abominable?^H2194

Woe^H1945 to her that is rebellious^H4754 and polluted!^H1351 to the oppressing^H3238 city!^H5892

Thus hath Jehovah^H3068 of hosts^H6635 spoken,^H559 saying,^H559 Execute^H8199 true^H571 judgment,^H4941 and show^H6213 kindness^H2617 and compassion^H7356 every man^H376 to his brother;^H251

Which^G5101 of the prophets^G4396 did^G1377 not^G3756 your^G5216 fathers^G3962 persecute?^G1377 and^G2532 they killed^G615 them that^G3588 showed before^G4293 of^G4012 the coming^G1660 of the Righteous One;^G1342 of whom^G3739 ye^G5210 have now^G3568 become^G1096 betrayers^G4273 and^G2532 murderers;^G5406

And^G2532 I saw^G1492 the woman^G1135 drunken^G3184 with^G1537 the blood^G129 of the saints,^G40 and^G2532 with^G1537 the blood^G129 of the martyrs^G3144 of Jesus.^G2424 And^G2532 when I saw^G1492 her,^G846 I wondered^G2296 with a great^G3173 wonder.^G2295
