And God^H430 set^H5414 them in the firmament of heaven^H8064 to give light^H215 upon the earth,^H776

and it came^H935 between the camp^H4264 of Egypt^H4714 and the camp^H4264 of Israel;^H3478 and there was the cloud^H6051 and the darkness,^H2822 yet gave it light^H215 by night:^H3915 and the one came not near^H7126 the other^H2088 all the night.^H3915

But he said^H559 unto her, Thou speakest^H1696 as one^H259 of the foolish women^H5036 speaketh.^H1696 What?^H1571 shall we receive^H6901 good^H2896 at the hand of God,^H430 and shall we not receive^H6901 evil?^H7451 In all this did not Job^H347 sin^H2398 with his lips.^H8193

When he giveth quietness,^H8252 who then can condemn?^H7561 And when he hideth^H5641 his face,^H6440 who then can behold^H7789 him? Alike whether [it be done] unto a nation,^H1471 or unto a^H3162 man:^H120

Jehovah^H3068 will give^H5414 strength^H5797 unto his people;^H5971 Jehovah^H3068 will bless^H1288 his people^H5971 with peace.^H7965

But God^H430 is the judge:^H8199 He putteth down^H8213 one, and lifteth up^H7311 another.

Consider^H7200 the work^H4639 of God:^H430 for who can^H3201 make that straight,^H8626 which he hath made crooked?^H5791

Yet he also is wise,^H2450 and will bring^H935 evil,^H7451 and will not call back^H5493 his words,^H1697 but will arise^H6965 against the house^H1004 of the evil-doers,^H7489 and against the help^H5833 of them that work^H6466 iniquity.^H205

Give^H5414 glory^H3519 to Jehovah^H3068 your God,^H430 before he cause darkness,^H2821 and before your feet^H7272 stumble^H5062 upon the dark^H5399 mountains,^H2022 and, while ye look^H6960 for light,^H216 he turn^H7760 it into the shadow of death,^H6757 and make^H7896 it gross darkness.^H6205

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 who giveth^H5414 the sun^H8121 for a light^H216 by day,^H3119 and the ordinances^H2708 of the moon^H3394 and of the stars^H3556 for a light^H216 by night,^H3915 who stirreth^H7280 up the sea,^H3220 so that the waves^H1530 thereof roar;^H1993 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts^H6635 is his name:^H8034

Out of the mouth^H6310 of the Most High^H5945 cometh^H3318 there not evil^H7451 and good?^H2896

All the bright^H3974 lights^H216 of heaven^H8064 will I make dark^H6937 over thee, and set^H5414 darkness^H2822 upon thy land,^H776 saith^H5002 the Lord^H136 Jehovah.^H3069

Shall the trumpet^H7782 be blown^H8628 in a city,^H5892 and the people^H5971 not be afraid?^H2729 shall evil^H7451 befall a city,^H5892 and Jehovah^H3068 hath not done^H6213 it?

Seek^H1875 Jehovah,^H3068 and ye shall live;^H2421 lest he break out^H6743 like fire^H784 in the house^H1004 of Joseph,^H3130 and it devour,^H398 and there be none to quench^H3518 it in Beth-el.^H1008

to do^G4160 whatsoever^G3745 thy^G4675 hand^G5495 and^G2532 thy^G4675 council^G1012 foreordained^G4309 to come to pass.^G1096

Every^G3956 good^G18 gift^G1394 and^G2532 every^G3956 perfect^G5046 gift^G1434 is^G2076 from above,^G509 coming down^G2597 from^G575 the Father^G3962 of lights,^G5457 with^G3844 whom^G3739 can be^G1762 no^G3756 variation,^G3883 neither^G2228 shadow^G644 that is cast by turning.^G5157

Wild^G66 waves^G2949 of the sea,^G2281 foaming out^G1890 their own^G1438 shame;^G152 wandering^G4107 stars,^G792 for whom^G3739 the blackness^G2217 of darkness^G4655 hath been reserved^G5083 for^G1519 ever.^G165
