And the earth^H776 was^H1961 waste^H8414 and void;^H922 and darkness^H2822 was upon the face^H6440 of the deep:^H8415 and the Spirit^H7307 of God^H430 moved^H7363 upon^H5921 the face^H6440 of the waters.^H4325

And Joseph^H3130 answered^H6030 Pharaoh,^H6547 saying,^H559 It is not in me:^H1107 God^H430 will give^H6030 Pharaoh^H6547 an answer^H6030 of peace.^H7965

And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto him, Who hath made^H7760 man's^H120 mouth?^H6310 Or who maketh^H7760 [a man] dumb,^H483 or deaf,^H2795 or seeing,^H6493 or blind?^H5787 is it not I, Jehovah?^H3068

And Bezalel^H1212 and Oholiab^H171 shall work,^H6213 and every^H2450 wise-hearted^H3820 man,^H376 in whom^H1992 Jehovah^H3068 hath put^H5414 wisdom^H2451 and understanding^H8394 to know^H3045 how to work^H6213 all the work^H4399 for the service^H5656 of the sanctuary,^H6944 according to all that Jehovah^H3068 hath commanded.^H6680

And Jehovah^H3068 came down^H3381 in the cloud,^H6051 and spake^H1696 unto him, and took^H680 of the Spirit^H7307 that was upon him, and put^H5414 it upon the seventy^H7657 elders:^H2205 and it came to pass, that, when the Spirit^H7307 rested^H5117 upon them, they prophesied,^H5012 but they did so no more.^H3254

and lest thou lift up^H5375 thine eyes^H5869 unto heaven,^H8064 and when thou seest^H7200 the sun^H8121 and the moon^H3394 and the stars,^H3556 even all the host^H6635 of heaven,^H8064 thou be drawn^H5080 away and worship^H7812 them, and serve^H5647 them, which Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 hath allotted^H2505 unto all the peoples^H5971 under the whole heaven.^H8064

Only Jehovah^H3068 give^H5414 thee discretion^H7922 and understanding,^H998 and give thee charge^H6680 concerning Israel;^H3478 that so thou mayest keep^H8104 the law^H8451 of Jehovah^H3068 thy God.^H430

And God^H430 said^H559 to Solomon,^H8010 Because this was in thy heart,^H3824 and thou hast not asked^H7592 riches,^H6239 wealth,^H5233 or honor,^H3519 nor the life^H5315 of them that hate^H8130 thee, neither yet hast asked^H7592 long^H7227 life;^H3117 but hast asked^H7592 wisdom^H2451 and knowledge^H4093 for thyself, that thou mayest judge^H8199 my people,^H5971 over whom I have made thee king:^H4427

For Jehovah^H3068 God^H430 is a sun^H8121 and a shield:^H4043 Jehovah^H3068 will give^H5414 grace^H2580 and glory;^H3519 No good^H2896 thing will he withhold^H4513 from them that walk^H1980 uprightly.^H8549

For Jehovah^H3068 giveth^H5414 wisdom;^H2451 Out of his mouth^H6310 [cometh] knowledge^H1847 and understanding:^H1847

I form^H3335 the light,^H216 and create^H1254 darkness;^H2822 I make^H6213 peace,^H7965 and create^H1254 evil.^H7451 I am Jehovah,^H3068 that doeth^H6213 all these things.

The sun^H8121 shall be no more thy light^H216 by day;^H3119 neither for brightness^H5051 shall the moon^H3394 give light^H216 unto thee: but Jehovah^H3068 will be unto thee an everlasting^H5769 light,^H215 and thy God^H430 thy glory.^H8597

Daniel^H1841 answered^H6032 before^H6925 the king,^H4430 and said,^H560 The secret^H7328 which the king^H4430 hath demanded^H7593 can neither^H3202 wise^H2445 men, enchanters,^H826 magicians,^H2749 nor soothsayers,^H1505 show^H2324 unto the king;^H4430

If^G1487 ye^G5210 then,^G3767 being^G5607 evil,^G4190 know how^G1492 to give^G1325 good^G18 gifts^G1390 unto^G5043 your^G5216 children,^G5043 how much^G4214 more^G3123 shall^G1325 your^G5216 Father^G3962 who is^G3588 in^G1722 heaven^G3772 give^G1325 good things^G18 to them that^G3588 ask^G154 him?^G846

And he answered^G611 and said^G2036 unto them,^G846 Unto you^G5213 it is given^G1325 to know^G1097 the mysteries^G3466 of the kingdom^G932 of heaven,^G3772 but^G1161 to them^G1565 it is^G1325 not^G3756 given.^G1325

There was^G2258 the true^G228 light,^G5457 [even the light] which^G3739 lighteth^G5461 every^G3956 man,^G444 coming^G2064 into^G1519 the world.^G2889

Again^G3825 therefore^G3767 Jesus^G2424 spake^G2980 unto them,^G846 saying,^G3004 I^G1473 am^G1510 the light^G5457 of the world:^G2889 he that followeth^G190 me^G1698 shall^G4043 not^{G3756 G3361} walk^G4043 in^G1722 the darkness,^G4653 but^G235 shall have^G2192 the light^G5457 of life.^G2222

For^G1063 the gifts^G5486 and^G2532 the calling^G2821 of God^G2316 are not repented^G278 of.

For^G1063 who^G5101 maketh^G1252 thee^G4571 to differ?^G1252 and^G1161 what^G5101 hast thou^G2192 that^G3739 thou^G2192 didst^G2983 not^G3756 receive?^G2983 but if^{G1487 G2532} thou didst receive^G2983 it, why^G5101 dost thou glory^G2744 as if^G5613 thou hadst^G2983 not^G3361 received^G2983 it?

Seeing^G3754 it is God,^G2316 that^G3739 said,^G2036 Light^G5457 shall shine^G2989 out of^G1537 darkness,^G4655 who shined^G2989 in^G1722 our^G2257 hearts,^G2588 to^G4314 give the light^G5462 of the knowledge^G1108 of the glory^G1391 of God^G2316 in^G1722 the face^G4383 of Jesus^G2424 Christ.^G5547

among^G1722 whom^G3739 we^G2249 also^G2532 all^G3956 once^G4218 lived^G390 in^G1722 the lust^G1939 of our^G2257 flesh,^G4561 doing^G4160 the desires^G2307 of the flesh^G4561 and^G2532 of the mind,^G1271 and^G2532 were^G1510 by nature^G5449 children^G5043 of wrath,^G3709 even^G2532 as^G5613 the rest: —^G3062

Wherefore^G1352 he saith,^G3004 When he ascended^G305 on^G1519 high,^G5311 he led^G162 captivity^G161 captive,^G162 And^G2532 gave^G1325 gifts^G1390 unto men.^G444

For^G1063 we^G2249 also^G2532 once^G4218 were^G1510 foolish,^G453 disobedient,^G545 deceived,^G4105 serving^G1398 divers^G4164 lusts^G1939 and^G2532 pleasures,^G2237 living^G1236 in^G1722 malice^G2549 and^G2532 envy,^G5355 hateful,^G4767 hating^G3404 one another.^G240

Jesus^G2424 Christ^G5547 [is] the same^G846 yesterday^G5504 and^G2532 to-day,^G4594 [yea] and^G2532 for^G1519 ever.^G165

This^G3778 wisdom^G4678 is^G2076 not^G3756 [a wisdom] that cometh down^G2718 from above,^G509 but^G235 is earthly,^G1919 sensual,^G5591 devilish.^G1141

And^G2532 this^G3778 is^G2076 the message^G31 which^G3739 we have heard^G191 from^G575 him^G846 and^G2532 announce^G312 unto you,^G5213 that^G3754 God^G2316 is^G2076 light,^G5457 and^G2532 in^G1722 him^G846 is^G2076 no^G3756 darkness^G4653 at all.^G3762

And^G2532 the witness^G3141 is^G2076 this,^G3778 that^G3754 God^G2316 gave^G1325 unto us^G2254 eternal^G166 life,^G2222 and^G2532 this^G3778 life^G2222 is^G2076 in^G1722 his^G846 Son.^G5207

And^G2532 there^G1563 shall be^G2071 night^G3571 no^G3756 more; and^G2532 they^G2192 need^G5532 no^G3756 light of lamp,^G3088 neither^G2532 light^G5457 of sun;^G2246 for^G3754 the Lord^G2962 God^G2316 shall give^G5461 them^G846 light:^G5461 and^G2532 they shall reign^G936 for^G1519 ever^G165 and ever.^G165
