He hath torn^H2963 me in his wrath,^H639 and persecuted^H7852 me; He hath gnashed^H2786 upon me with his teeth:^H8127 Mine adversary^H6862 sharpeneth^H3913 his eyes^H5869 upon me.

Like the profane^H2611 mockers^H3934 in feasts,^H4580 They gnashed^H2786 upon me with their teeth.^H8127

Let them not say^H559 in their heart,^H3820 Aha,^H1889 so would we have it:^H5315 Let them not say,^H559 We have swallowed him up.^H1104

An evil^H1100 disease,^H1697 [say they], cleaveth fast^H3332 unto him; And now that he lieth^H7901 he shall rise up^H6965 no more.^H3254

He will send^H7971 from heaven,^H8064 and save^H3467 me, [When] he that would swallow me up^H7602 reproacheth;^{H2778 H5542} God^H430 will send forth^H7971 his lovingkindness^H2617 and his truth.^H571

The wicked^H7563 shall see^H7200 it, and be grieved;^H3707 He shall gnash^H2786 with his teeth,^H8127 and melt away:^H4549 The desire^H8378 of the wicked^H7563 shall perish.^H6

For, as for thy waste^H2723 and thy desolate places,^H8074 and thy land^H776 that hath been destroyed,^H2035 surely now shalt thou be too strait^H3334 for the inhabitants,^H3427 and they that swallowed thee up^H1104 shall be far away.^H7368

All that found^H4672 them have devoured^H398 them; and their adversaries^H6862 said,^H559 We are not guilty,^H816 because they have sinned^H2398 against Jehovah,^H3068 the habitation^H5116 of righteousness,^H6664 even Jehovah,^H3068 the hope^H4723 of their fathers.^H1

Nebuchadrezzar^H5019 the king^H4428 of Babylon^H894 hath devoured^H398 me, he hath crushed^H2000 me, he hath made^H3322 me an empty^H7385 vessel,^H3627 he hath, like a monster,^H8577 swallowed me up,^H1104 he hath filled^H4390 his maw^H3770 with my delicacies;^H5730 he hath cast me out.^H1740

All our enemies^H341 have opened^H6475 their mouth^H6310 wide against us.

Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H3069 Thou shalt drink^H8354 of thy sister's^H269 cup,^H3563 which is deep^H6013 and large;^H7342 thou shalt be laughed to scorn^H6712 and had in derision;^H3933 it containeth^H3557 much.^H4767

For thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H136 Because thou hast clapped^H4222 thy hands,^H3027 and stamped^H7554 with the feet,^H7272 and rejoiced^H8055 with all the despite^H7589 of thy soul^H5315 against the land^H127 of Israel;^H3478

therefore prophesy,^H5012 and say,^H559 Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H3069 Because, even because they have made you desolate,^H8074 and swallowed you up^H7602 on every side,^H5439 that ye might be a possession^H4181 unto the residue^H7611 of the nations,^H1471 and ye are taken up^H5927 in the lips^H8193 of talkers,^H3956 and the evil report^H1681 of the people;^H5971

But look^H7200 not thou on the day^H3117 of thy brother^H251 in the day^H3117 of his disaster,^H5235 and rejoice^H8055 not over the children^H1121 of Judah^H3063 in the day^H3117 of their destruction;^H6 neither speak^H6310 proudly^H1431 in the day^H3117 of distress.^H6869

I have heard^H8085 the reproach^H2781 of Moab,^H4124 and the revilings^H1421 of the children^H1121 of Ammon,^H5983 wherewith they have reproached^H2778 my people,^H5971 and magnified^H1431 themselves against their border.^H1366
