And Achan^H5912 answered^H6030 Joshua,^H3091 and said,^H559 Of a truth^H546 I have sinned^H2398 against Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 and thus and thus have I done:^H6213

Lo, this is the man^H1397 that made^H7760 not God^H430 his strength,^H4581 But trusted^H982 in the abundance^H7230 of his riches,^H6239 And strengthened^H5810 himself in his wickedness.^H1942

He that trusteth^H982 in his riches^H6239 shall fall;^H5307 But the righteous^H6662 shall flourish^H6524 as the green^H5929 leaf.

There is^H3426 one^H259 that is alone, and he hath not a second;^H8145 yea, he hath neither son^H1121 nor brother;^H251 yet is there no end^H7093 of all his labor,^H5999 neither are his eyes^H5869 satisfied^H7646 with riches.^H6239 For whom then, [saith he], do I labor,^H6001 and deprive^H2637 my soul^H5315 of good?^H2896 This also is vanity,^H1892 yea, it is a sore^H7451 travail.^H6045

There is^H3426 a grievous^H2470 evil^H7451 which I have seen^H7200 under the sun,^H8121 [namely], riches^H6239 kept^H8104 by the owner^H1167 thereof to his hurt:^H7451

No man^G3762 can^G1410 serve^G1398 two^G1417 masters;^G2962 for^G1063 either^G2228 he will hate^G3404 the one,^G1520 and^G2532 love^G25 the other;^G2087 or else^G2228 he will hold to^G472 one,^G1520 and^G2532 despise^G2706 the other.^G3756 Ye cannot^G1410 serve^G1398 God^G2316 and^G2532 mammon.^G3126

And^G2532 behold,^G2400 one^G1520 came^G4334 to him^G846 and said,^G2036 Teacher,^G1320 what^G5101 good^G18 thing^G18 shall I do,^G4160 that^G2443 I may have^G2192 eternal^G166 life?^G2222

And^G2532 Jesus^G2424 looked round about,^G4017 and saith^G3004 unto^G3101 his^G846 disciples,^G3101 How^G4459 hardly^G1423 shall^G1525 they that have^G2192 riches^G5536 enter^G1525 into^G1519 the kingdom^G932 of God!^G2316

And^G1161 Jesus^G2424 seeing him said,^G2036 How^G4459 hardly^G1423 shall^G1525 they that^G1492 have^G2192 riches^G5536 enter^G1525 into^G1519 the kingdom^G932 of God!^G2316

But^G1161 a certain^G5100 man^G435 named^G3686 Ananias,^G367 with^G4862 Sapphira^G4551 his^G846 wife,^G1135 sold^G4453 a possession,^G2933

But^G1161 they that are minded^G1014 to be rich^G4147 fall^G1706 into^G1519 a temptation^G3986 and^G2532 a snare^G3803 and^G2532 many^G4183 foolish^G453 and^G2532 hurtful^G983 lusts,^G1939 such as^G3748 drown^G1036 men^G444 in^G1519 destruction^G3639 and^G2532 perdition.^G684

for^G1063 Demas^G1214 forsook^G1459 me,^G3165 having loved^G25 this^G3588 present^G3568 world,^G165 and^G2532 went^G4198 to^G1519 Thessalonica;^G2332 Crescens^G2913 to^G1519 Galatia,^G1053 Titus^G5103 to^G1519 Dalmatia.^G1149

Love^G25 not^G3361 the world,^G2889 neither^G3366 the things^G3588 that are in^G1722 the world.^G2889 If^G1437 any man^G5100 love^G25 the world,^G2889 the love^G26 of^G1722 the Father^G3962 is^G2076 not^G3756 in^G2076 him.^G846
