What is man,^H582 that he should be clean?^H2135 And he that is born^H3205 of a woman,^H802 that he should be righteous?^H6663

Create^H1254 in me a clean^H2889 heart,^H3820 O God;^H430 And renew^H2318 a right^H3559 spirit^H7307 within^H7130 me.

For thou, Lord,^H136 art good,^H2896 and ready to forgive,^H5546 And abundant^H7227 in lovingkindness^H2617 unto all them that call^H7121 upon thee.

O Israel,^H3478 hope^H3176 in Jehovah;^H3068 For with Jehovah^H3068 there is lovingkindness,^H2617 And with him is plenteous^H7235 redemption.^H6304

I will declare^H5046 thy righteousness;^H6666 and as for thy works,^H4639 they shall not profit^H3276 thee.

And^G2532 his^G846 mercy^G1656 is unto^G1519 generations^G1074 and generations^G1074 On them that fear^G5399 him.^G846

To show^G4160 mercy^G1656 towards,^G3326 our^G2257 fathers,^G3962 And^G2532 to remember^G3415 his^G846 holy^G40 covenant;^G1242

And^G1161 he^G2036 answering^G611 said,^G2036 Thou shalt love^G25 the Lord^G2962 thy^G4675 God^G2316 with^G1537 all^G3650 thy^G4675 heart,^G2588 and^G2532 with^G1537 all^G3650 thy^G4675 soul,^G5590 and^G2532 with^G1537 all^G3650 thy^G4675 strength,^G2479 and^G2532 with^G1537 all^G3650 thy^G4675 mind;^G1271 and^G2532 thy^G4675 neighbor^G4139 as^G5613 thyself.^G4572

because^G1360 by^G1537 the works^G2041 of the law^G3551 shall^G1344 no^G3756 flesh^G4561 be justified^G1344 in^G1799 his^G846 sight;^G1799 for^G1063 through^G1223 the law^G3551 [cometh] the knowledge^G1922 of sin.^G266

But^G1161 to him that worketh^G2038 not,^G3361 but^G1161 believeth^G4100 on^G1909 him that justifieth^G1344 the ungodly,^G765 his^G846 faith^G4102 is reckoned^G3049 for^G1519 righteousness.^G1343

So^G686 then^G3767 it is not^G3756 of him that willeth,^G2309 nor^G3761 of him that runneth,^G5143 but^G235 of God^G2316 that hath mercy.^G1653

But^G1161 if^G1487 it^G2076 is by grace,^{G5485 G3765} it is^G1096 no more^G3765 of^G1537 works:^G2041 otherwise^G1893 grace^G5485 is^G2076 no more^G3765 grace.^G5485

And^G2532 such^G5023 were^G2258 some of you:^G5100 but^G235 ye were washed,^G628 but^G235 ye were sanctified,^G37 but^G235 ye were justified^G1344 in^G1722 the name^G3686 of the Lord^G2962 Jesus^G2424 Christ, and^G2532 in^G1722 the Spirit^G4151 of our^G2257 God.^G2316

Now^G1161 to Abraham^G11 were^G4483 the promises^G1860 spoken,^G4483 and^G2532 to his^G846 seed.^G4690 He saith^G3004 not,^G3756 And^G2532 to seeds,^G4690 as^G5613 of^G1909 many;^G4183 but^G235 as^G5613 of^G1909 one,^G1520 And^G2532 to^G4690 thy^G4675 seed,^G4690 which^G3739 is^G2076 Christ.^G5547

but^G1161 God,^G2316 being^G5607 rich^G4145 in^G1722 mercy,^G1656 for^G1223 his^G846 great^G4183 love^G26 wherewith^G3739 he loved^G25 us,^G2248

and^G1161 that ye be renewed^G365 in the spirit^G4151 of your^G5216 mind,^G3563

and^G2532 have put on^G1746 the new^G3501 man, that is being renewed^G341 unto^G1519 knowledge^G1922 after^G2596 the image^G1504 of him^G846 that created^G2936 him:^G846

But^G1161 when^G3753 the kindness^G5544 of God^G2316 our^G2257 Saviour,^G4990 and^G2532 his love^G5363 toward man,^G5363 appeared,^G2014

and^G2532 [then] fell away,^G3895 it is impossible^G102 to renew them^G340 again^G3825 unto^G1519 repentance;^G3341 seeing they crucify^G388 to themselves^G1438 the Son^G5207 of God^G2316 afresh,^G388 and^G2532 put him to an open shame.^G3856

who^G3588 in time past^G4218 were no^G3756 people,^G2992 but^G1161 now^G3568 are the people^G2992 of God:^G2316 who^G3588 had^G1653 not^G3756 obtained mercy,^G1653 but^G1161 now^G3568 have obtained mercy.^G1653
