Job 17:9 TSK

The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.

But the path of the just [is] as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

The meek also shall increase [their] joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

And he shall sit [as] a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

Whose fan [is] in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Another parable spake he unto them; ‹The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.›

And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, ‹Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever.› And presently the fig tree withered away.

Luke 13:7 TSK

‹Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?›

‹Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and› [that] ‹your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.›

And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

¶ Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become [as] sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

For they verily for a few days chastened [us] after their own pleasure; but he for [our] profit, that [we] might be partakers of his holiness.

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would [no doubt] have continued with us: but [they went out], that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
