The godly speak wise words and promote justice.

Then I will teach rebels your merciful ways, and sinners will turn to you.

I will sing a song that imparts wisdom; I will make insightful observations about the past.

in order to safeguard discretion, and that your lips may guard knowledge.

The teaching of the righteous feeds many, but fools die for lack of sense.

Wisdom Can Be Nullified By the Caprice of Rulers A wise person’s good sense protects him, but a fool’s lack of sense leaves him vulnerable.

Your lips drip sweetness like the honeycomb, my bride, honey and milk are under your tongue. The fragrance of your garments is like the fragrance of Lebanon.

Offspring of vipers! How are you able to say anything good, since you are evil? For the mouth speaks from what fills the heart.

He said to them,“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

How are they to call on one they have not believed in? And how are they to believe in one they have not heard of? And how are they to hear without someone preaching to them?

You must let no unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but only what is beneficial for the building up of the one in need, that it would give grace to those who hear.

And the tongue is a fire! The tongue represents the world of wrongdoing among the parts of our bodies. It pollutes the entire body and sets fire to the course of human existence– and is set on fire by hell.
