Though I be righteous,^H6663 mine own mouth^H6310 shall condemn^H7561 me: Though I be perfect,^H8535 it shall prove me perverse.^H6140

And enter^H935 not into judgment^H4941 with thy servant;^H5650 For in thy sight^H6440 no man living^H2416 is righteous.^H6663

not according to the covenant^H1285 that I made^H3772 with their fathers^H1 in the day^H3117 that I took^H2388 them by the hand^H3027 to bring them out^H3318 of the land^H776 of Egypt;^H4714 which my covenant^H1285 they brake,^H6565 although I was a husband^H1166 unto them, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

And^G2532 behold,^G2400 a certain^G5100 lawyer^G3544 stood up^G450 and^G2532 made trial^G1598 of him,^G846 saying,^G3004 Teacher,^G1320 what^G5101 shall I do^G4160 to inherit^G2816 eternal^G166 life?^G2222

I say^G3004 unto you,^G5213 This man^G3778 went down^G2597 to^G1519 his^G846 house^G3624 justified^G1344 rather than^G2228 the other:^G1565 for^G3754 every one^G3956 that^G3588 exalteth^G5312 himself^G1438 shall be humbled;^G5013 but^G1161 he that^G3588 humbleth^G5013 himself^G1438 shall be exalted.^G5312

Verily,^G281 verily,^G281 I say^G3004 unto you,^G3754 He that^G3588 heareth^G191 my^G3450 word,^G3056 and^G2532 believeth^G4100 him that sent^G3992 me,^G3165 hath^G2192 eternal^G166 life,^G2222 and^{G2532 G2064} cometh^G2064 not^G3756 into^G1519 judgment,^G2920 but^G235 hath passed^G3327 out^G1537 of death^G2288 into^G1519 life.^G2222

Now^G1161 we know^G1492 that^G3754 what things soever^G3745 the law^G3551 saith,^G3004 it speaketh^G2980 to them that are^G3588 under^G1722 the law;^G3551 that^G2443 every^G3956 mouth^G4750 may be stopped,^G5420 and^G2532 all^G3956 the world^G2889 may be brought^G1096 under the judgment^G5267 of God:^G2316

But^G1161 to him that worketh^G2038 not,^G3361 but^G1161 believeth^G4100 on^G1909 him that justifieth^G1344 the ungodly,^G765 his^G846 faith^G4102 is reckoned^G3049 for^G1519 righteousness.^G1343

but^G235 for^G1223 our sake^G2248 also,^G2532 unto whom^G3739 it shall^G3195 be reckoned,^G3049 who^G3588 believe^G4100 on^G1909 him that raised^G1453 Jesus^G2424 our^G2257 Lord^G2962 from^G1537 the dead,^G3498

Much^G4183 more^G3123 then,^G3767 being^G1344 now^G3568 justified^G1344 by^G1722 his^G846 blood,^G129 shall we be saved^G4982 from^G575 the wrath^G3709 [of God] through^G1223 him.^G846

And^G1161 I^G1473 was alive^G2198 apart^G5565 from the law^G3551 once:^G4218 but^G1161 when^G2064 the commandment^G1785 came,^G2064 sin^G266 revived,^G326 and^G1161 I^G1473 died;^G599

For^G1063 what^G3588 the law^G3551 could not do,^G102 in^G1722 that^G3739 it was weak^G770 through^G1223 the flesh,^G4561 God,^G2316 sending^G3992 his own^G1438 Son^G5207 in^G1722 the likeness^G3667 of sinful^G266 flesh^G4561 and^G2532 for^G4012 sin,^G266 condemned^G2632 sin^G266 in^G1722 the flesh:^G4561

but^G1161 Israel,^G2474 following after^G1377 a law^G3551 of righteousness,^G1343 did^G5348 not^G3756 arrive^G5348 at^G1519 [that] law.^G3551

for^G1063 with the heart^G2588 man believeth^G4100 unto^G1519 righteousness;^G1343 and^G1161 with the mouth^G4750 confession is made^G3670 unto^G1519 salvation.^G4991

yet knowing^G1492 that^G3754 a man^G444 is^G1344 not^G3756 justified^G1344 by^G1537 the works^G2041 of the law^G3551 but^{G1437 G3361} through^G1223 faith^G4102 in^G1519 Jesus^G2424 Christ,^G5547 even^G2532 we^G2249 believed^G4100 on^G1519 Christ^G5547 Jesus,^G2424 that^G2443 we might be justified^G1344 by^G1537 faith^G4102 in Christ,^G5547 and^G2532 not^G3756 by^G1537 the works^G2041 of the law:^G3551 because by^G1360 the works^G2041 of^G1537 the law^G3551 shall^G1344 no^G3756 flesh^G4561 be justified.^G1344

And^G1161 the scripture,^G1124 foreseeing^G4275 that^G3754 God^G2316 would justify^G1344 the Gentiles^G1484 by^G1537 faith,^G4102 preached the gospel^G4283 beforehand unto Abraham,^G11 [saying,]^G3754 In^G1722 thee^G4671 shall^G2127 all^G3956 the nations^G1484 be blessed.^G2127

Is the law^G3551 then^G3767 against^G2596 the promises^G1860 of God?^G3361 God forbid:^G1096 for^G1063 if^G1487 there had been^G1325 a law^G3551 given^G1325 which^G3588 could make^G1410 alive,^G2227 verily^{G3689 G302} righteousness^G1343 would have been^G2258 of^G1537 the law.^G3551

as touching^G2596 zeal,^G2205 persecuting^G1377 the church;^G1577 as touching^G2596 the righteousness^G1343 which^G3588 is^G1096 in^G1722 the law,^G3551 found blameless.^G273

which^G3748 [is] a figure^G3850 for^G1519 the time^G2540 present;^G1764 according^G2596 to which^G3739 are offered^G4374 both^G5037 gifts^G1435 and^G2532 sacrifices^G2378 that^G3361 cannot,^{G1410 G3361} as touching^G2596 the conscience,^G4893 make^G5048 the worshipper^G3000 perfect,^G5048

And^G2532 None every^G3956 priest^G2409 indeed^G3303 standeth^G2476 None day by^G2596 day^G2250 ministering^G3008 and^G2532 offering^G4374 oftentimes^G4178 the same^G846 sacrifices,^G2378 the which^G3748 can^G1410 never^G3763 take away^G4014 sins:^G266
